The Black Rock Mental and Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time remote position within our hospice center in Eugene, Oregon. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your role involves a variety of therapeutic responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to accurately diagnose patients’ mental health conditions.
• Developing tailored treatment plans employing evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Maintaining precise and timely clinical records ensuring compliance with HIPAA and local regulations.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide integrated care and support across services.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to enhance care quality and address complex cases.
• Offering education and resources to patients and their families about mental health issues and available therapeutic options to enhance their treatment experience.
• Remaining up-to-date on advancements within the mental health field to continuously improve clinical practice.
• Handling a full caseload efficiently, ensuring treatment milestones are consistently met and documented.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals facing psychological challenges due to terminal illness or significant life changes. Your empathetic approach will be essential in addressing the emotional distress experienced by patients and their families, creating an atmosphere of stability and understanding as they navigate their journeys.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.
• Minimum of three years of experience providing psychotherapy services within a clinical setting.
• Strong foundation in various solution-based therapy techniques and interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to connect with patients and families effectively.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address unpredictable clinical scenarios.
• A collaborative spirit, thriving in teamwork, and valuing different perspectives in the pursuit of patient wellness.

• Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings.
• Familiarity with community resources and social support systems available to patients and their families.
• Prior involvement in multidisciplinary teams focused on comprehensive patient care.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, we provide medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as life and disability insurance and malpractice coverage.
