DESCRIPTION
The Gaming Host position often requires cross-training between the three gaming departments: Bowling, Laser Tag, and the Arcade Redemption Store. While Gaming Hosts may have a primary role, they also may split their time between departments based on availability and their level of comfort.
Bowling Host: The Bowling Host creates the first impression of the unique entertainment experience that bowling provides for our Guests. They assist the Guest in making the correct value selection for their group, assist in renting bowling shoes, inform them of the food and beverage offerings and service offered on each lane, and do this in a timely, efficient and friendly manner.
Laser Tag Host: As the guide to a Guest's Laser Tag experience, this Host has their finger on the pulse of the arena and arcade at all times, assisting Guests in getting the most entertainment value possible during their visit. Outgoing, fun and always ready to make sure that the Guest has a great time playing the games is a Games and Laser Tag Host.
Prize Redemption Host: Some of our games dispense points on the game card, which may be redeemed for an array of prizes. The Prize Redemption Host is the keeper of these prizes and encourages Guests' how to obtain the best prize for the points they've won. The Prize Redemption Host uses their counter as a stage to entertain Guests while they make their prize selection and redeem points. Outgoing, informative and a sense of excitement help the Prize Redemption Host interact with Guests.
REQUIREMENTS
Mavrix (www.mavrix.com) is the Valley's newest entertainment hub, offering 22 lanes of upscale bowling, 85 arcade games, state-of-the-art laser tag, billiards tables, dozens of 4K televisions, 1,500 square feet of meeting and event space, a sports theater restaurant and bar featuring chef-prepared menu items and a large outdoor games patio.
Mavrix is the latest addition to Octane Entertainment's roster, the parent group known for Octane Raceway, Arizona's premium kart racing facility, and Velocity VR, the state's only free-roam virtual reality gaming arena. Mavrix will be located in the 50,000 square-foot retail space next door to Octane Raceway at the Pavilions at Talking Stick. Mavrix and Octane Raceway will total a combined 110,000 square feet with shared access to the outdoor games patio, which will connect the two entertainment powerhouses.
