Position Grade

Position Summary
Working at Popejoy Hall, this position oversees all activities related to Popejoy Hall's concessions prior to and during live performances. This position will work primarily nights and weekends prior to and during events and includes concessions set up and selling pre-show and during intermission with a team of student employees. This position will also assist with balancing cash and sales at the end of the night.
This is an on-call position and hours will vary based on Popejoy's performance schedule and administrative needs.

Conditions of Employment
  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.

Minimum Qualifications
Less than high school; no previous experience required.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cash handling and POS systems
  • Experience with food handling
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends
