JOB DESCRIPTION:

The mission of the Design Engineer is to design and redesign new and improved products manufactured 

by White

Hydraulic innovatively to meet strategic objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, 

including product managers, marketing, and other engineers, to understand project requirements and 

objectives. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative design concepts-research 

to gather information on materials, technologies, and design trends relevant to the project. 

Analyze technical specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Provide 

product-related engineering technical support to internal and external customers.


JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Define design intent, then complete advanced innovative designs utilizing two-dimensional and 

three-dimensional NX software based on GD&T design philosophies to ensure a successful product 

launch.

 Integrate the latest technologies based on R&D research into all designs.

 Define testing parameters.

 Analyze benchmark and test data to optimize performance.

 Conduct FEA and failure analysis using industry-accepted methods and tools.

 Conducts research involving cost savings related to product design.

 Participates in coordinating the manufacture of prototype components and assemblies.

 Assists in troubleshooting process problems related to products in manufacturing and 

assembly.

 Travel to customers to work on the development of the products.

 Participation in procurement projects and suppliers validation.

 Makes recommendations for product improvement through design.

 Participates in the evaluation of returned products as required.

 Create and maintain technical documentation for the products.

 Provides engineering technical assistance to internal customers.

 Attending trade shows and seminars and design training sessions.

 Assists in training employees in the Engineering Department and Technical Customer 

Service.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

 In mechanical engineering, with 2 years of experience in manufacturing and various engineering 

areas, with progressive managerial responsibility.

 Undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering.

 Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, 

Outlook).
