FUNCTIONAL ROLEAs the Sales Manager for the HVAC division you will be a key leadership role responsible for driving sales growth and developing a professional HVAC Sales team. This position involves overseeing daily operations, coaching the sales team, and collaborating with upper management to establish goals and strategies for success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management and a passion for developing people in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer to establish and recommend departmental goals.

  • Oversee daily activities of the Sales and Service division to meet goals and client expectations.

  • Drive and coach the sales team through proper sales processes, training, and support.

  • Perform sales activities alongside sales team members.

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the service department, including customer care and technician development.

  • Manage personnel and develop strong teams in both sales and service.

  • Review progress throughout the division and enforce proper sales processes

  • Debrief tech sales calls and develop better sales skills and presentations.

  • Conduct in-field and in-office training on sales and customer relations.

  • Drive the membership program through training and action.

  • Coach, encourage, and hold the service team accountable for customer care.

  • Assist upper management with additional tasks as needed.

  • Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth.

  • Implement new strategies to improve both the sales and service divisions.

  • Meet regularly with various teams to coordinate efforts and ensure stable sales results.

  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.

  • Coordinate company resources to ensure efficient sales results.

  • Execute the company's sales policies, best practices, and procedures.

  • Assist sales personnel in establishing rapport with decision-makers.

  • Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer to develop sales strategies to improve market share.

  • Help educate the sales team through training programs on new equipment sales and services.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • 2 or more years of HVAC Residential Service experience.

  • 3 years of Sales Manager experience.

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Good driving record (No DWI's within the past 5 years).

  • Clean criminal background (No felonies within the past 7 years).

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Exceptional communication and sales ability.

  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment.

  • EPA Certification
