We are seeking a highly organized, well-connected, and culturally tapped-in Comedy Show Booker & Talent Liaison to lead talent sourcing and comedian relations for COLORS Comedy events in Los Angeles, CA. This person will play a key role in identifying rising comedic talent, booking lineups that fit the COLORS brand, and serving as the primary point of contact for comedians before, during, and after shows.
The ideal candidate is deeply familiar with the comedy scene, especially emerging local comedians, and thrives in relationship-based environments. They should be passionate about creating memorable live experiences and helping cultivate a supportive environment for talent.
COLORS Comedy is an intimate live comedy experience spotlighting emerging comedians and local talent in cities across the country. Produced by COLORS Worldwide, the series creates a space where audiences can discover the next generation of comedic voices in a curated, community-driven environment. We're bringing the brand back and looking for someone passionate about comedy, culture, talent discovery, and live event production to help shape its next chapter.
Responsibilities
Talent Booking & Curation
  • Research, identify, and recruit up-and-coming comedians in local markets
  • Curate diverse and engaging comedy lineups aligned with the COLORS Comedy brand and audience
  • Maintain relationships with comedians, managers, agents, and local comedy communities
  • Stay informed on emerging talent, trends, and local comedy scenes
  • Coordinate booking logistics including rates, availability, contracts, and performance details

Talent Liaison
  • Serve as the main point of contact for comedians leading up to and during events
  • Communicate schedules, call times, venue details, hospitality information, and show expectations
  • Ensure comedians feel supported, informed, and welcomed throughout the event experience
  • Assist with talent hospitality and backstage coordination on show days as needed
  • Help manage talent-related issues professionally and efficiently in real time

Minimum Qualifications
  • Previous experience booking talent, producing comedy shows, or working in live entertainment
  • Strong knowledge of the comedy landscape and emerging talent
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cities, timelines, and talent relationships simultaneously
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends around live event schedules
