Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Peachtree City, GA
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

This role will act as a key technical interface between internal teams and automotive OEM customers, while leading electrical design efforts for embedded systems. The ideal candidate brings strong automotive electronics expertise, hands-on design experience, and the ability to collaborate across global engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary electrical engineering contact for automotive OEM customers 

Lead and participate in technical meetings with customers and cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, systems, etc.) 

Drive electronic design, development, prototyping, and validation of embedded systems Ensure alignment with automotive requirements, testing, and validation processes 

Collaborate with global/offshore engineering teams, including teams in Japan 

Support transition from development to production and post-launch maintenance

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in automotive electronics 

Experience acting as a technical contact/interface with automotive manufacturers 

Strong background in embedded systems electronic design 

Solid understanding of 

-Automotive design requirements 

-Testing and validation processes 

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, software, systems) 

Strong communication and teamwork skills 

Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

Conversational Japanese language skills (preferred, not required)
