  • Transaction Processing: Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces
  • Job Control Language (JCL): Ability to write and manage JCL scripts for batch processing
  • System Administration: Basic understanding of mainframe system administration tasks like data set management and security
  Must Have: IMS/DB, CICS, COBOL and JCL Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain mainframe applications using languages like COBOL , PL/I , and Assembler .
  • Design and manage CICS transaction programs for real-time data processing.
  • Support and troubleshoot legacy systems, performing debugging and issue resolution.
  • Work with DB2 and IMS for data storage, management, and query optimization.
  • Monitor and optimize batch processing jobs for efficient system performance.
