Job description

IMS is currently searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Registered Nurse in our Cardiology clinic. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for facilitating treatments to patients in the office and assisting the physician with treatment plans, Instill the IMS mission, vision and values in the work performed.

**********THIS IS A PRN POSITION**********

Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of a physician, the RN will take patients medical histories and vital signs and record the information in the EHR system
  • Examine and assist with the treatment of patients
  • Order necessary laboratory tests and track results and make sure the physician reviews the results in a timely manner
  • Record progress notes in EHR system
  • Instruct and counsel patients on treatment plans
  • Order and carry out chemotherapy: including, starting IV's, perform injections, draw blood samples
  • Travel may be required depending on business needs
  • Hours may vary and be outside of normal office hours depending on business needs
Requirement Education & Experience:
  • Registered Nurse with a licensure in Arizona
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact with people from different backgrounds and cultures
  • Requires the ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion
  • Must have knowledge of and follow HIPAA guidelines and secure Protected Health Information at all times
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
