Facility Attendant -- IMRF (Pension)
Position Summary
Palatine Park District is hiring a Facility Attendant IMRF positions at our various facilities, including the Community Center, Falcon Park, and Birchwood Recreation Center. The Facility Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, setting up and taking down rooms, providing customer service, enforcing facility rules and regulations, and ensuring the security of the facility. Additionally, this position will involve cleaning outdoor restrooms at various facilities during the outdoor season. The Facility Attendant may also be required to work during special events. While on duty, this role will serve as the lead custodial staff, ensuring that other Facility Attendants complete their setup, takedown, and cleaning duties.

Minimum Requirements
  • 1-2 years working experience in facility maintenance preferred
  • Must be 18 Years of Age
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Previous custodial experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Class "D" Driver's License
  • Ability to maintain positive customer service while adjusting to a fast-paced, quick-changing and demanding environment
