Position Title: Janitor/Maintenance

Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary: The Janitor/Maintenance position at Helix Community Schools is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role involves performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the school facilities, ensuring that all areas are in compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and Maintenance:
o Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
o Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring that supplies such as soap and paper towels are stocked.
o Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly.
Facility Repairs:
o Assist with minor repairs.
