Dates: July 27 - July 31, 2026
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Ages: 9 - 12Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and high-energy Improv & Comedy Camp Instructor to lead a week-long summer program for youth participants. This camp focuses on building confidence, creativity, and teamwork through improv games, storytelling, and performance exercises.
The ideal instructor will create a fun, supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves, trying new ideas, and collaborating with peers.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a structured, 3-hour daily improv and comedy camp
  • Teach foundational improv skills such as "yes, and," character creation, and scene building
  • Facilitate engaging games, group exercises, and creative activities
  • Encourage teamwork, confidence, and self-expression among participants
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, inclusive environment
  • Prepare lesson plans for the full week, with progression in skills and activities
  • Coordinate a simple end-of-week showcase or performance (if applicable)
Qualifications
  • Experience in improv, comedy, theater, or performing arts
  • Experience working with children (ages 9-12 preferred)
  • Strong classroom management and group facilitation skills
  • Energetic, patient, and engaging personality
  • Reliable and punctual for the full week commitment
