Job description

Are you a detail-oriented professional looking to grow your career in logistics? This Air Import Agent role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and ensuring shipments move efficiently from start to finish.

This company specializes in international freight and logistics, coordinating the movement of goods across global markets. This position is full-time, temp-to-hire, climate-controlled office environment and focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and strong customer relationships. 
As an Air Import Agent, you’ll play a key role in keeping freight on track. You’ll make sure shipments move quickly and correctly, handle important paperwork, and stay in touch with carriers, customers, and warehouses to keep everything running smoothly. If something goes off track, you’ll jump in and help get it back on course
 
Air Import Job Duties:
  • Coordinate and track air import shipments to ensure timely delivery 
  • Prepare and process import documentation and ensure compliance with regulations 
  • Communicate with carriers, customers, and warehouses to resolve issues and provide updates 
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and data in internal systems 

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. â€“ Some OT

Pay: $21–$23/Hr. Depending on Experience 

Air Import Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in air import, freight forwarding, or logistics 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and partners 
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
