As a Main Line Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various components and systems of automobiles. Your expertise will primarily focus on the main systems of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other technicians and communicating effectively with customers to deliver exceptional service.

Job Duties:

  • Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, etc.
  • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
  • Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years tech experience (GM experience preferred) 
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred
  • Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair 
  • Large import experience is highly desired.
