POSITION SUMMARY:

The function of the Rifle Inspector is to provide and perform inspection of final assemblies, final cleaning of assemblies, sub-assemblies, individual components for internal and external customers. 


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Availability to work (7am-3:15pm) 1st shift
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent visual perception to ensure fine detail quality inspection.
  • Full physical capabilities to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, bend, and maneuver around equipment and/or job stations.
  • Ability to work in a productive, cooperative manner with other company employees.
  • Computer literacy at a level of competence to enable accessing and completing necessary documents and forms
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks according to priority.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Executing, overseeing, implementation and compliance to the company quality system.
  • Adequate control, protection, and use of the assets of the company.
  • On-going monitoring and verification of quality at the end of production to ensure the product meets specifications.
  • Follow all procedures set forth in Quality Manual.
  • On-going communications with various members of the company to ensure common understanding of immediate issues affecting output and quality.
  • Perform final inspection and cleaning on all items from assembly department in timely fashion.
  • Perform final inspection on all items pick, pack, ship items from shipping department prior to packing and shipment.
  • Assist Quality Inspectors in receiving and in-process inspections.
  • Author and maintain Quality Alerts.
  • Any other duties assigned by Quality Manager.
