Job Description:

The Import/Export Coordinator will be responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative support to ensure efficiency and maximizing customer trust for BW Papersystems.

Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between third-party logistics companies and BW Papersystems to process and monitor freight claims.

Process imports and exports using internal business systems.

Create and update metrics and visualizations to communicate performance indicators to operations and leadership teams.

Make continual process changes and adapt own performance in order to meet the organization's needs.

Examines contents and compares with records to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.

Ensures that carriers are notified for freight pick-up and that the freight is routed properly.

Prepares bills of lading and shipping manifests.

Traces shipments and obtains proof of delivery.

May answer inquiries regarding shipping status and expedite shipment when required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in the use of Excel and Teams.

Proficiency with MAPICS, InforXA, Power BI, and Varsity is desired.

Working knowledge of manufacturing and transportation processes.

This is a first-shift position that will participate in an on-call evening and weekend rotation to support global transportation needs.
