About the Opportunity

Are you a high-energy, data-driven automotive professional looking to lead a premier service department? The Ron Marhofer Auto Family, a leader in the Northeast Ohio automotive market, is seeking an experienced, hands-on Service Manager to oversee our high-volume service operations.

In this role, you will lead a team of talented technicians and service advisors, ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction (CSI) while driving operational efficiency and profitability. Your Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily service department activities, including repair order (RO) flow, shop workflow, and technician productivity.

  • Financial Performance: Drive departmental profitability by managing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Effective Labor Rate, Hours Per Repair Order (H/RO), and Fixed Absorption.

  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor service advisors and technicians; foster a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.

  • Customer Experience: Maintain market-leading CSI scores by ensuring transparent communication and timely service delivery.

  • Process Optimization: Utilize your expertise in Dealertrackย to streamline operations and ensure accurate record-keeping.

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of successful management experience in a domestic or import automotive dealership service department.

  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of modern Dealership Management Systems (DMS) and service scheduling software.
