Warehouse Associate – 2nd Shift

This role offers a starting base wage of $18.75 per hour with an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential for a total of $20.75 per hour. Safely perform a variety of materials handling and related duties pertaining to the storage and retrieval of product. Perform item tracking, recording, auditing, cycle and other inventory counts.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive all incoming raw material, hose, fittings, etc., ensuring that actual quantities received match with those on invoice. Deliver for final placement into racks. Report any damaged items immediately to department supervisor or lead person.
  • Physically weighing incoming boxes of goods to verify quantities. Repackage skids when necessary.
  • Place raw material, hoses, and fittings into assigned locations in storage racks. Pull orders from racks as instructed for shipment. Weigh, address, and secure skids for shipment. Must be able to physically break down pallets of material for partial shipments.
  • Work with shipping orders and select proper items following final inspection.
  • Make receipts and stock transfers.
  • Keep production departments adequately supplied with all work in process and raw materials needed in Manufacturing.
  • Perform all functions as a dock person, receiving, special length supplier, return goods, and hose puller.
  • Perform some light maintenance on forklift and cherry picker machines.
  • Must be licensed and capable of operating a motorized vehicle.
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas.
  • Perform work of an equal or lower classification as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English language
  • Add, subtract, and basic math operations.
  • Operate material handling vehicles.
  • Our manufacturing roles do have some minimum physical requirements; standing for 8+ hours, ability to wear PPE (safety shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, safety vests, and gloves), the ability to hear audible warnings and indicators, ability to perform repetitive motions including use of hands to bend tubing & connect hose assemblies, sorting items by size shape and color, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and occasionally lifting objects up to 45 pounds.
