Job Summary
Dietitian - Implementation & Project Manager (MyDining) is responsible for leading the full lifecycle of nutrition-focused technology initiatives, ensuring successful implementation from planning through execution and optimization. This role blends clinical nutrition expertise with project management, requiring a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on involvement to achieve high-quality patient dining outcomes.
The position emphasizes a strong understanding of patient feeding systems, therapeutic diets, and nutrition care workflows, alongside experience with application configuration and basic networking concepts. Familiarity with foodservice or patient dining solutions is highly preferred.
The ideal candidate is a Registered Dietitian with solid technical aptitude, including knowledge of healthcare applications, system implementation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This role requires strong project management skills defining scope, coordinating across clinical and IT teams, ensuring accountability, and maintaining ownership of timelines and deliverables while always prioritizing patient-centered nutrition care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participates in and provides constructive feedback on escalated issues related to MyDining projects
  • Solicits feedback from accounts and users of the MyDining application
  • Develops policies and procedures related to information systems implementation, use and maintenance
  • Revises implementation tools and workbooks as directed
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies (CMS, TJC, DNV) and Morrison Healthcare policies and procedures
  • Adheres to HIPAA and company confidentiality policies
  • Acts as a positive role model, promotes performance improvement
  • Communicates progress of MyDining project to appropriate personnel
  • Develops strategies to maintain and support client satisfaction with MyDining at a level that ensures account retention.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with MyDining team
  • Serves as a liaison between Compass IT, MHC regional and support services team members and food and nutrition services departments
  • Represents the best interests of the food and nutrition services department, patients, associates and Morrison Healthcare
  • Escalates issues in a timely manner to Director, MyDining Business Development
  • Coordinate communications for escalation of needs for MyDining Projects related to the overall project statuses
  • Evaluates and identifies project scope to ensure established quotations meet project budgets; works within established project budget to achieve completion
  • Tracks and evaluates productivity data related to IT Project Manager team workflows
  • Secures appropriate project and financial approvals; revisits as needed and submits timely documentation in preparation for and upon completion of projects

Education, Training and Experience:
Required:
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Five (5) years or more of experience in food service management
  • In-depth knowledge of MyDining software

Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of IT business experience; preference for healthcare focus
