Revenue Cycle Project Manager, Intermediate
Position Summary
The Revenue Cycle Project Manager, Intermediate supports Revenue Cycle initiatives while managing small-to-medium projects and contributing to larger implementation efforts. This position is designed for a project manager who brings strong fundamentals but is looking to grow into increasingly complex healthcare operational and technology-focused projects.
The Intermediate PM will work closely with operational leaders, technical teams, vendors, and Senior Project Managers to ensure project success across Revenue Cycle Operations. The role requires a hands-on approach and a willingness to learn complex healthcare workflows and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage small-to-medium Revenue Cycle projects from initiation through implementation.
  • Support Senior PMs on large-scale Revenue Cycle initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, communication plans, RAID logs, meeting materials, project schedules, and status reports.
  • Participate in operational workflow discussions and implementation activities.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and operational impacts.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Assist with vendor coordination and implementation readiness efforts.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and operational transformation projects.
  • Utilize Smartsheet, Microsoft tools, and Agile methodologies to drive project execution.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Revenue Cycle workflows and healthcare operations.

  • Front-end revenue cycle and patient access modernization projects.

  • Experience in Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, Revenue Integrity, Claims, Denials, HB, PB, or healthcare operations.
  • Epic experience or exposure.
  • Smartsheet experience.
  • Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint experience.
  • CAPM, PMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
