Job Summary:
VP Management is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee hotel operations at our Beckley, WV location. The General Manager will be responsible for leading a team of individuals to achieve sales, profitability and customer service goals. This individual contributor role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage all aspects of the business.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time salaried position with a competitive compensation package. In addition to base salary, the General Manager will have access to benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401k plan. Paid time off and company discounts are also included.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the Beckley, WV location including revenue management, operations, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve a great experience for the guests and profitability goals
- Train and manage a team of employees to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency
- Maintain proper inventory levels and ordering processes
- Monitor and report on financial performance and make adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, franchise required standards, procedures and safety standards
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and address any issues or concerns
- Continuously seek out ways to improve processes and increase revenue
- Collaborate with upper management to develop and implement company-wide initiatives
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees
- Recruiting and training new employees as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role, preferably in the retail or hospitality industry
