Position Summary... What you'll do...Role summary:
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management Central Division, based in the Field or Home Office, oversees end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers. This role leads resolution of operational challenges, analyzes data to enhance network performance, and manages supplier compliance and external partnerships. By driving process improvements and collaborating across stakeholders, the position supports sales, inventory, and profitability goals. The role also provides leadership and development for associates, promotes ethical standards, and champions continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain execution and deliver value aligned with company objectives.
About the team:
The Divisional Operations Support Team serves as the operational link between Distribution Centers, Home Office teams, and business partners. This team drives system implementations, manages operational changes, supports emergency responses, and ensures efficient execution of dry grocery and perishables networks. By collaborating across supply chain stakeholders, the team enhances network performance, resolves issues, and optimizes merchandise flow. Their focus on communication, adaptability, and project management supports continuous improvement and operational excellence within the supply chain.
What you'll do:
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficient merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers.
  • Analyze data and root causes of exceptions related to shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns to improve network efficiencies.
  • Oversee relationships with external partners, communicating expectations and leading audit processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align supply chain execution with sales, inventory, and profitability goals.
  • Drive process improvements using lean concepts and cost reduction strategies.
  • Lead and develop associates through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Support business plans by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and measuring progress.
