Job description

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the technical implementation of Windfall's solutions, helping customers successfully integrate our platform with their data and applications. As a key member of the Solutions Engineering team, you'll partner closely with Customer Success to deliver a seamless onboarding experience, ensuring customers are set up for long-term success from day one.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while building strong relationships with customers. You'll collaborate with executive stakeholders, product leaders, and cross-functional teams, confidently guiding conversations with both technical and nontechnical audiences. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the technical implementation of Windfall's solutions for customers, specifically with regards to data and applications
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Windfall's solutions and how they can be applied to meet customers' needs
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure customers hit the ground running and achieve success using Windfall's products:
    • Conduct customer data analysis to better understand customer needs and inform implementation strategies
    • Configure and run initial attribution based on knowledge of customer data and KPIs
    • Resolve data and technical issues during the onboarding process
    • Develop application training and content for customers
  • Collaborate with Product leadership to build implementation processes into the Windfall application
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in SaaS and DaaS technology
Requirements:
  • Bachelors in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or another quantitative field
  • 2+ years in an external client-facing role with great EQ is essential
  • Scrappiness – We don't have all the answers, but you'll need to find them
  • Basic data science skills or interest in self-learning (Command-Line and SQL proficiency will jumpstart your time to value)
  • Great communication skills internally and externally (Prompt response and action when needed, people rarely need to follow up with you)
  • Startup personality: smart, ethical, friendly, cross-functional, hardworking, and proactive
  • Willingness and desire to learn and adopt new skills - both technical and non-technical - in order to craft and deliver the best solutions
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments with little direction
  • Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and design 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the Martech/Adtech ecosystem
  • Experience with our target verticals (financial services, retail, travel/hospitality)
