Job Summary
The Project manager's responsibilities include the set-up coordination and completion of the project on time, within budget and within scope.
The Project Manager oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project.
The Project Manager prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project, and ensure that documentation is according to standard.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Create a handshake with the project sponsor on the project objectives & project baseline and determine a plan to realize those objectives.
  • Set-up of the project structure to enable measuring project performance
  • Ensure that the project is delivered on-time, on-value, within scope and within budget
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of project
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project schedule to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, value and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure and analyze project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and define recovery plans where deviations to plan so demand.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders
  • Actively assess the risk profile and determine effective mitigation plans to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Manage communication to external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and delegate work-packages to work-package leaders
  • Support project members to develop their individual strengths & skill sets and grow their experience levels
  • Meet business case objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in project managment
  • Aerospace experience
  • Proven working experience in managing medium complex projects in an industrial environment
  • Proven leadership skills on mid - senior management level
  • Excellent external and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective stakeholder management.
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • GKN Experience
  • Project Management Professional certification like IPMA level C/PMP/ APM PMQ / /Other certification is a plus
