Position Description
Primary Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include the following specific tasks:
  • Assist in monitoring daily labor hours, per-diem payments, equipment hours, and job and phase coding to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with invoice and expense report approvals and procuring materials.
  • Assist with project submittals, including but not limited to material certifications, daily traffic logs, storm water pollution prevention plan reports and shop drawings.
  • Assist with bidding, certifications, generating reports, gathering information, creating spreadsheets and processing extra work items.
  • Assist with construction crew scheduling
  • Develop project cost estimates.
  • Maintain project files.
  • Prepare, analyze and distribute job cost reports to management and bridge team members understanding variances between actual results and budgets.
  • Assist in enforcement of Company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 1-2 years construction industry experience, preferably with bridge repair and temporary barrier.
  • Achieved a degree from a college or post-secondary construction management program
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to serve internal and external customers
  • Knowledge of Viewpoint Vista and Primavera P6 software preferred, along with an aptitude and track record of optimizing the use of software tools.
  • General computer skills, including MS O365 suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks while maintaining accuracy
