Overview

Osprey Life Sciences is partnering with a growing biotechnology client to identify an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of a digital validation platform, with Kneat experience strongly preferred (ValGenesis or comparable platforms also considered). This role will drive a high-impact GMP initiative supporting the organization's evolution from Research & Discovery into Clinical Development and Commercial Manufacturing. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, results-driven project leader with experience managing regulated software implementations, engaging cross-functional stakeholders across Quality, Validation, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and IT, and successfully delivering complex projects from initiation through deployment in a fast-paced Life Sciences environment.


Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of a digital validation platform, including planning, execution, validation, deployment, and operational transition.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, implementation roadmaps, resource strategies, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and competing priorities while ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate project governance, status reporting, executive communications, and steering committee updates.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule while maintaining compliance with GMP and organizational quality standards.

Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Partner with Quality, Validation, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, IT, and business stakeholders to align project objectives and implementation strategy.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings, decision-making sessions, and executive communications.
  • Build consensus among technical and business teams while managing evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive organizational change management and support user adoption throughout implementation.

GMP, Validation & SDLC

  • Partner with Quality and Validation teams to define validation strategy, documentation, testing, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead project activities supporting requirements gathering, business process analysis, governance, validation planning, and implementation.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP, CSV/CSA, SDLC, and validation lifecycle methodologies.
  • Support inspection-ready documentation, traceability, risk assessments, and compliance deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of IT Project Management experience leading enterprise software implementations.
  • Proven experience implementing Kneat or a comparable digital validation platform such as ValGenesis.
  • Experience managing GMP-regulated software implementations within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV), Computer Software Assurance (CSA), validation lifecycle management, and regulated SDLC methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success leading medium-to-large cross-functional programs involving Quality, Validation, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, and IT.
  • Experience developing project plans, governance structures, resource strategies, budgets, and executive communications.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly regulated environments while balancing strategic objectives with hands-on project execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting organizations transitioning from Research & Discovery into Clinical Development and Commercial Manufacturing.
  • Experience leading digital transformation or enterprise Quality initiatives.
  • PMP certification or equivalent Project Management certification.
  • Experience within growing biotechnology organizations undergoing increased regulatory maturity.
