We offer a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.

Please note that we are not currently hiring fully remote positions. All candidates must have the ability to work in one of our tech offices.

Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Delivery Management Division as a Project Manager. Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of small, medium, and/or large-scale projects. Work may be performed on a single project or multiple projects at once with limited supervision. The position requires the person to:

  • Effectively apply project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Identify resources needed and make recommendations to management for associates to address needs.
  • Review high-level project related documents before passing along to stakeholders.
  • Perform risk analysis and minimize risk exposure across multiple projects.
  • Direct activities with other departments and divisions in order to meet project objectives.
  • Assist in mentoring and training newer project managers, project leads, and senior project leads.
  • Ensure that projects meet stakeholder objectives.
  • Deliver project presentations to team members, stakeholders, and executives.
  • Participate in project operational duties as needed based on the demands of the team.
  • Travel and attend meetings and seminars as required.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere upon request.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
