Description
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for acting as the main bridge between the sales team, production floor, and customers. They process incoming product orders, track manufacturing and delivery schedules, handle client inquiries, and maintain sales records to ensure goods move smoothly from the factory to the buyer.
Duties
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding orders, pricing, lead times, and product availability. Address inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently, providing customers with timely order status updates and shipping information.
• Manage and coordinate projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with production, purchasing, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, and order information within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for client engagement and retention and conduct regular check-ins with clients to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and project progress in the CRM system.
• Support training and onboarding processes for new clients to ensure successful product implementation.
• Organize and execute client events and meetings, including travel arrangements as needed.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align customer needs with product offerings.
• Monitor project budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of company assets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
• Provide regular updates to management on project status and customer feedback.
Project Management
• Manage new tooling projects from customer approval through production launch.
• Coordinate development orders and prototype builds with engineering, tooling suppliers, production, and customers.
• Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Manage research and development (R&D) projects, coordinating activities across multiple departments.
• Communicate project status, risks, and key milestones to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all project documentation, specifications, and customer requirements are accurately maintained.
• Identify and resolve project issues proactively to minimize delays and maintain customer satisfaction.
Requirements
• At least one year of experience in customer service, sales, or project management.
