Operations Manager
This position is a newly created and is responsible for the overall management and administration of the business operations at a growing manufacturing company.
Duties
  • Oversee daily operations of the establishment, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.​​​​​​
  • Manage and supervise business team members, driving workflow processes accurately.
  • Develop, improve and implement operational processes, systems and SOPs for a smooth workflow.  Lead your team by example. 
  • Build, Lead and manage the Operations organization by implementing programs and processes to optimize operations, production and manufacturing workflow.  Manage direct reports.
  • Must have the ability to develop, implement and train on workflow systems, and processes.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies and systems for operations.
  • Prior operations and supervisory leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.  Training new team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team of employees.  Excellent written skills to document workflow SOPs.
  • Must have the ability to develop KPI, Metrics and hold team members accountable.
  • Must have an excellent understanding of the business operational aspects and workflow.
  • Managing the hands-on operational aspects of the company
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the organization.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in business operations, supply chain, production and manufacturing
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a business operations team.
  • Excellent communication skills including writing, with the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.  (internal and customer facing)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.  Train and Delegate.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to hold direct reports accountable.  KPI and Analytical ownership.
  • Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years' experience in operations, supply chain and mfg is required.
  • 8+ years business and operations experience are required.
  • 8+ years of previous supervisory experience in an operations & mfg environment is required.
  • Proven change agent that can lead from the front to drive results.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  ERP and Excel Tracking required.
