Job description

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Implementation Management Senior Specialist for its Tampa, FL location.
DUTIES: Serve as a strategic professional responsible for supporting and delivering complex implementation initiatives by applying subject matter expertise to business, operational, and technology related projects. Gather and organize information on problems or procedures to support effective project evaluation. Stay abreast of developments within the functional area and contribute to implementation strategy by assessing applicability to assigned initiatives and the broader business. Confer with relevant personnel to ensure the successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures. Proactively assess appropriate solutions, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely escalation to avoid impact to project delivery. Plan studies of work problems and procedures, including organizational changes, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis. Interface with, influence, and negotiate with internal business partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to drive implementation efforts and achieve smooth and timely execution. Interview personnel and conduct on site observations to assess unit functions, work performed, and the methods, equipment, and personnel used. Complete internal and external project-related activities, identify areas for process improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. Analyze collected data and develop solutions or alternative approaches. Prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, monitor progress, and leverage metrics to identify optimization opportunities. Document study findings and prepare recommendations for implementing new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. Review forms and reports and consult with management and users regarding format, distribution, and purpose, identifying areas for improvement. Design, evaluate, recommend, and approve changes to forms and reports. Prepare manuals and train employees on new forms, reports, procedures, or equipment in accordance with organizational policy. Serve as a subject matter resource while ensuring adherence to internal policies, ethical standards, and applicable laws and regulations. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (will accept 3-year or 4-year U.S. or foreign degree) in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation identifying or implementing strategic initiatives to improve processes and procedures. Six (6) years of experience must include: Translating high-level policy shifts into operational requirements and processing adjustments to assess how policy changes impact operations, risk, and compliance; Lean process redesigning to improve efficiency and control without disrupting business continuity by automating or streamlining workflows to meet new strategic objectives; Defining and implementing a Target Operating Model framework that aligns with business strategy to identifying gaps between current state and future state models and managing the transition; Coordinating project governance forums to facilitate mediation between key stakeholders and assisting in decision making by establishing clear communication channels and plans between stakeholders across multiple business units to monitor progress and assess potential impact to project delivery; Creating comprehensive project plans that are fully customized to meet the end users' specific requirements including critical path, key deliverables, scope, milestones, actions, risks, and issues; and Navigating cross-border operational complexities by adapting project strategies to diverse regulatory, cultural, and business environments to ensure alignment between global standards and country-specific practices to drive effective implementation and stakeholder engagement. 40 hrs./wk. 15% domestic and international travel required.
