About the Role

As a SaaS Implementation Project Manager, you will be responsible for management, supervision, and implementation of Nakisa SaaS solutions for our clients. Leading the project from conceptualization through implementation, you will manage and supervise project teams and internal cross-functional project teams to deliver solution offerings that meet/exceed customer expectations. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on schedule and on budget while fostering positive project team dynamics.

What you'll be doing

Taking full ownership of client-facing implementation projects - from the first kickoff call to final handoff - and working cross-functionally to deliver on time, on budget, and above expectations, in this role you will:

  • Serve as the primary client contact during onboarding.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of onboarding and migration projects per Nakisa's methodology.
  • Manage scope, schedule, risks, issues, and budgets, invoking change requests when needed.
  • Oversee project activities, reporting, and invoicing.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring timely, quality outcomes.
  • Facilitate project transitions to support and submit weekly reports.
  • Approve timesheets, respecting budget constraints.
  • Contribute to improving project management processes.

What you bring

We're looking for a seasoned PM who combines technical fluency with strong communication skills - someone equally comfortable in a client boardroom and navigating complex implementation projects.

  • University degree in BA, MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional Project Management experience as a Project Manager.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, including a high degree of comfort interacting at C-Level internally and externally.
  • Software industry experience, preferably in delivering SaaS Solutions.
  •  Understanding of accounting principles and terminology within an ERP ecosystem
  • Experience managing multiple international projects in complex environments at the same time.
  • Excellent negotiating skills to be able to reach agreements where all parties are satisfied, and good relationships are maintained.
  • Fluency in English is required because this role serves as the primary point of contact for Nakisa's global client base, requiring consistent written and verbal communication with enterprise clients, project stakeholders, and cross-functional teams located outside Quebec.*

* Nakisa delivers SaaS solutions to 1,100+ organizations across 135 countries. Teams, customers, and partners are distributed internationally.

Nice-to-haves
  • Knowledge of SAP FICO
  • Knowledge of leasing and Real Estate domain
  • Knowledge/Certification of AWS/Azure
  • PMP Certification

What's in it for You?

For an experienced SaaS PM, Nakisa offers something most enterprise software companies can't: the combination of meaningful product complexity, a tight-knit team, and real ownership.

  • End-to-end project ownership - you won't be managing a sub-workstream on a team of 40 PMs. You'll own your projects from kickoff to close.
  • Direct executive exposure, both internally and with enterprise clients, giving you a seat at the table where decisions get made.
  • Meaningful domain complexity at the intersection of financial technology, lease accounting, and AI-powered SaaS - work with real regulatory and business weight.
  • A bilingual, international environment with a genuinely collaborative culture recognized among Canada's top employers.
  • Hybrid work flexibility based out of our Montreal headquarters.
  • The opportunity to grow beyond execution and become a trusted strategic advisor to the enterprise clients who rely on Nakisa's platform.
