Responsibilities of the position include:
  • Create and manage user accounts, directories, files and their associated permissions.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, including application software and system management tools.
  • Maintain documentation, including network diagrams, hardware and software configurations, hardware and software inventories, and other related information.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and respond to all level incidents/tickets for end users.
  • Manage and monitor all installed operating systems, infrastructure (physical and virtual), and corporate networks (LAN/WAN).
  • Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Ensure systems are scalable, highly available, and secure
  • Fully documenting all created design, deployment, and support processes.
  • Willingness to work additional hours to include on-call duty during the week and/or weekend, as required
  • Implementing best practices for system security and data backups.
  • Stay up to date with latest technology and best practices (webinars and conferences)
  • Speaking to and collaborating with a variety of people, such as clients, vendors, management, and information technology (IT) staff during the creation and maintenance of systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Knowledge in supporting Office O365 (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint)
  • Knowledge of everything Windows including Windows 10 - 11, Server 2019, Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.
  • Knowledge of Firewalls, switches, cabling, and conference room video equipment.
  • General Virtualization experience including VMware, HyperV.
  • General knowledge of TCP/IP, vlan's and WAN concepts
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge in Change Management process.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks by importance and deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt and adjust schedule to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Ability to travel as needed to remote offices.
  • Ability to implement, manage, finalize projects as assigned.
  • A good understanding and knowledge of networking and application-level operations
  • Ability to quickly diagnose issues and suggest solutions.
  • Working knowledge of scripting language to support automation tasks. PowerShell preferred.

Education and Experience:
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience is preferred.
