  • Lead installation crews and serve as the primary onsite representative for Boldyn throughout project execution.
  • Coordinate activities between escorts, Field Service Representatives, contractors, vendors, and internal implementation teams.
  • Track installation progress and provide regular status updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Manage onsite inventory, equipment logistics, and installation resources to support project timelines.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly scanned, tracked, and installed in the correct locations.

Network Installation, Testing & Troubleshooting

  • Oversee installation of fiber, copper, and networking infrastructure.
  • Perform testing and validation of network infrastructure to ensure quality and performance standards are achieved.
  • Conduct signal strength and speed coverage verification to confirm alignment with deployment plans.
  • Troubleshoot network issues in partnership with Engineering, NOC, Circuit, and Vendor teams.
  • Repair and resolve fiber and copper connectivity issues identified during testing and commissioning activities.
  • Support the successful activation and optimization of deployed network solutions.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Conduct quality control inspections of installed equipment and infrastructure.
  • Verify installations meet project specifications, company standards, and customer requirements.
  • Complete closeout documentation, including network records and wireless design as-builts.
  • Maintain accurate daily records, installation reports, and project documentation.
  • Capture and organize closeout photographs of installed equipment and completed work.
  • Support inventory reconciliation, return shipments, and project closeout activities.

Collaboration & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, field personnel, and customers throughout deployment activities.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Support incident resolution, work order completion, and escalated field-related issues.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring

Think you could make a difference here? We're looking for someone who brings strong technical installation expertise, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions. You will also bring some of the following:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in cabling installation, networking infrastructure, or related electronic systems.
  • Experience leading or coordinating field installation projects and onsite crews.
  • Technical school certification preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic and copper infrastructure installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with IP networking, Ethernet, routers, firewalls, and CAT5/CAT6 technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, installation specifications, and wiring diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of BICSI, INSTF, or related cabling standards and best practices preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in dynamic field environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing equipment, inventory, and project documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
