Marketing Coordinator
Location: Valley Forge, PA (Founding Forward, 1601 Valley Forge Road, Valley Forge, PA 19482)
Reports to: Director of Communications & Marketing Status: Full-time
About Founding Forward: Founding Forward is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to informing and engaging citizens through transformational educational experiences grounded in American history. These experiences empower students, educators, and communities to understand, appreciate, and practice the principles, rights, and responsibilities of American citizenship. Founding Forward operates from two main locations: the Sir John Templeton Heritage Center, a research, exhibit, and programming space at The Union League of Philadelphia, and an 86-acre educational campus in Valley Forge, PA.
Position Summary: The Marketing Coordinator serves as the operational engine of the Communications & Marketing department, transforming strategy into execution. Working closely with the Director and Digital Marketing Specialist, this role coordinates campaigns, creates and develops content, manages project timelines and vendors, and ensures marketing initiatives are implemented effectively across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Campaign Coordinator
  • Coordinate the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across departments.
  • Maintain production schedules, deadlines, and communication between project stakeholders.

Content Development
  • Create and adapt short-form written content, including: social media posts, program descriptions, email copy, website updates, promotional messaging, program/event marketing materials.
  • Produce short form videos to capture testimonials and other content to showcase the work/impact of Founding Forward.
  • Take engaging photographs and creates visually appealing graphics for social media and more.

Social Media Coordination
  • Manage day-to-day social media content calendars and publishing.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist on strategy and performance.

Marketing Project Management
  • Coordinate marketing requests, manage production timelines, and ensure projects move efficiently from concept through completion.

Department Support
  • Support campaign implementation, reporting, research, and communications initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Must have an interest in civic education and a commitment to Founding Forward's mission.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience working on organizational social media.
  • Experience with photography and video editing.
  • Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, HootSuite and SalesForce ideal.
  • Must hold or be able to complete clearances for working with youth and have an active driver's license.
