Job description

We are seeking a Cannabis Operations Coordinator who will serve as the key support administrator for cannabis operations and handle administrative functions for the General Manager of Cannabis Operations. They must be a resourceful self-starter who is people and service-oriented, extremely organized, excels at juggling multiple projects, and is comfortable working with teams across multiple functions. The Operations Coordinator will be expected to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with staff and teams across Oneida Indian Nation, and various vendors. The Operations Coordinator will report to the GM of Cannabis Operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Support all facets of operational set-up to ensure the successful launch of cannabis cultivation, manufacturing, and retail operations
  • Keep the team accountable to various deadlines and milestones as team coordinator
  • Identify opportunities for improving the front office and implementation of new processes where necessary
  • Be the point person for leading all the setups and scheduling for onboarding new employees and vendors
  • Be an operations point of contact for partners in Professional Services, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally with teams to streamline processes
  • Responsible for office maintenance including ordering supplies, restocking, and organization. Ensure general tidiness of the office including kitchen and communal areas.
  • Maintain and update the tracking of crucial organization information such as consultant contracts, leases, trademarks, credit card information, etc.
  • Assist with management and training for various ERP tracking and POS software platforms
  • Manage, ensure payment of, and create expense reports for all related bills.
  • Conduct research for the GM of Operations as needed
  • Serve as the point person with facilities on issues such as building maintenance, office vendors, USPS, etc.
  • Collaborate with the GM of Operations on special projects as needed.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Horticulture, or a related field OR equivalent experience
  • At least three years of working experience in operations or project coordination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, project management efficacy- highly organized, results-oriented, and able to take initiative
  • Ability to work independently and as a team; ability to manage multiple projects and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and record keeping
  • Ability to solve practical problems in a quick and timely manner and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in a written or oral form
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues, maintain the utmost confidentiality, and perform duties with a high level of professionalism, flexibility, discretion, judgment, diplomacy, and tact
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Growth mindset with interest and curiosity to learn new things
  • Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software
