Job Description

We are looking for bright, driven, and thoughtful candidates to join our dynamic portfolio management team and build a rewarding investment management career at Russell Investments. You will work side‑by‑side with portfolio managers across our global financial services business and learn from the best.

Responsibilities
  • Implement day‑to‑day fund portfolio manager decisions and fund activity.
  • Assist in daily management of fund cash flows and determine optimal implementation strategies.
  • Adjust daily exposures and ensure timely execution in accordance with policies set by the Head of Portfolio Implementation.
  • Create and submit trade instructions, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Contribute to strategy development and implementation for portfolios to generate superior performance.
  • Manage coordination of fund transition events, including manager changes and fund launches.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to establish and manage implementation strategies.
  • Ensure efficient, risk‑controlled plans for investment process launches or changes.
  • Support the Head of Portfolio Implementation in improving operational infrastructure for all asset classes, including portfolio viewing, implementation, and analytics.
  • Stay informed of market events and guide portfolio managers in implementation decisions.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • Passion for global financial markets, portfolio management, analytics, and execution strategies.
  • Basic statistical knowledge and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and self‑initiative skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work with diverse team members.
