Associate Wealth Advisor

Position Summary

Our firm is seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to join our planning-centric team dedicated to delivering personalized wealth advice aligned with each client’s unique goals and aspirations.

This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with Wealth Advisors to maintain and strengthen client relationships through active participation in the financial planning process. The Associate Wealth Advisor supports the development and implementation of comprehensive strategies across retirement, risk management, tax, estate, and investment planning.

We offer a hybrid work model: 3 days per week in-office and 2 days remote, or as directed by the team leader.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, revise, and present comprehensive financial plans using planning software

  • Apply knowledge of tax, estate, and insurance planning concepts

  • Develop mastery of the firm’s investment philosophy

  • Create holistic investment strategies tailored to each client and monitor risk tolerance over time

  • Develop foundational knowledge of trading and partner with the Portfolio Management team to:

    • Approve and execute portfolios

    • Implement trade recommendations

    • Conduct tax-loss harvesting strategies

  • Master the firm’s technology stack, including CRM systems and custodian platforms

  • Collaborate with other Associate Wealth Advisors to share knowledge and best practices

  • Independently lead client communications and interactions

  • Diligently document all client communications within the CRM system

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for client needs, ensuring exceptional service delivery

  • Conduct client billing reviews and support advisory team compliance efforts

  • Participate in advisory team business planning and support firm strategic initiatives

  • Meet with clients in person as needed; limited travel may be required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Series 65 (or equivalent) within 120 days of employment

  • 2+ years of financial services experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

  • Working knowledge of financial industry products and financial planning concepts

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Clean U4 record
