Summary
As a Business Analyst Advisor supporting the implementation of Gainwell's Immunization Registry solutions, you will play a key role in helping public health agencies achieve their strategic and operational objectives. This position serves as a business analysis leader, partnering closely with clients, Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams to define business requirements, evaluate solution options, and ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.
The successful candidate will be a self-directed professional with deep business analysis expertise, strong healthcare domain knowledge, and the ability to lead complex discussions with both executive and operational stakeholders. This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to translate business needs into actionable solution requirements.
Your role in our mission
  • Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder workshops, and business process analysis activities to identify and document complex business, operational, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on Immunization Information System (IIS) best practices, workflows, and solution capabilities.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, business rules, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions.
  • Drive requirements traceability, scope management, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate solution design discussions and evaluate business impacts, risks, dependencies, and implementation considerations.
  • Support testing activities by validating requirements, reviewing test scenarios, and ensuring solution outcomes align with client expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with executive sponsors, business stakeholders, and technical teams throughout project execution.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Business Analysts and project team members while promoting best practices and consistency in analysis deliverables.
  • Perform business process assessments, gap analyses, and impact analyses to support client solution planning.
  • Research and define solutions for new business requirements, legislation, and operational changes.
  • Develop and present recommendations, solution options, and proof-of-concept outcomes to client and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks, assumptions, and dependencies and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support configuration and implementation activities through detailed business and functional analysis.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables are produced in accordance with project timelines and organizational standards.

What we're looking for
  • 10+ years of Business Analysis, Solution Analysis, or related experience.
  • 6+ years of Immunization Information System (IIS), Immunization Registry, Public Health, or related healthcare technology experience preferred.
  • Strong experience leading requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and business process analysis efforts.
  • Experience supporting large-scale system implementations and client-facing delivery projects.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, requirements management, testing, and solution delivery practices.
  • Strong experience with requirements traceability, impact analysis, and business process modeling.

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
