Job description

The Global Mobility Program Manager plays an instrumental role in supporting an exceptional candidate and employee experience at Navan. In this role, you will own running our immigration and relocation programs and will have the opportunity to create, implement, and improve upon various programs and processes to help us better navigate the complex, global environment.

This is a temporary position with the potential to convert to a permanent hire based on performance and ongoing business needs. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your expertise, drive immediate impact, and help shape the future of our global initiatives. By leveraging data and key mobility metrics, you will actively identify trends, optimize program efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across our global initiatives.

What's You'll Do?

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all internal and external Global mobility/Immigration related questions.
  • Experience managing international immigration and relocation processes (e.g., countries within EMEA and APAC)
  • Develop, manage, and educate our immigration and relocation programs. 
  • Cultivate and ensure that our vendors and external partners provide a high-quality experience to candidates, employees, managers, and the People team. 
  • Drive communications with candidates, employees, talent team and managers regarding relocation and immigration process (H-1B cap lottery, immigration/relocation process for transfers, PERM & Adjustment of Status process, immigration program updates).
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to immigration and mobility compliance.
  • Facilitate the initiation of employee tax, relocation, and immigration pre-move counseling sessions. 
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Legal, Corporate Tax, Finance and Accounting to create solutions on streamlining cross-functional processes.
  • Work closely with internal teams to process relocations within existing systems and ensure communication and information management across systems and teams impacted by a relocation.

What We're Looking For?

  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role; experience working in a technology startup highly preferred
  • You possess strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with a proven ability to use metrics to enhance processes, improve budget efficiency, and upgrade the employee experience
  • You have a successful track record of managing the full life cycle of H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, B-1/B-2, Permanent Resident/Green Card filings and extension processes
  • You thrive in high-growth, fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • You have an extremely high level attention to detail and strong organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize
  • You're able to combine great people intuition, business judgment and discretion in your decision-making
