Position

Taft is seeking an experienced Partner or Counsel to join its Immigration group in the Cincinnati office.

Responsibilities
  • Provide immigration services with a focus on business/employment-based immigration, including handling Nonimmigrant visas (e.g., H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-2) and Immigrant petitions (e.g., EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, PERM labor certifications).
  • Work with corporate clients, HR teams, and global mobility programs and manage complex RFE (Requests for Evidence) and audit responses.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures (USCIS, DOL, DOS processes) and manage cases with high attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Excel in legal research, writing, and analytical skills with strong client communication and case management abilities.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience practicing immigration law, with a strong focus on business/employment-based immigration.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures (USCIS, DOL, DOS).
  • Experience handling complex immigration matters and RFEs; ability to manage deadlines and client expectations.
  • Experience working with corporate clients, HR teams, and global mobility programs; excellent client communication and case management abilities.
