Raytheon is seeking a Principal Specialist (P3) for the IEO finance portfolio.Interested candidates will oversee financials for one or multiple programs in the portfolio area. Care for program financials including development of time-phased integrated budgets and schedules, cost accounting, and ongoing management of cost and schedule integration.We are seeking a hard-working, energetic, and dedicated individual to contribute to the overall success of our programs as well as provide opportunities for career growth and advancements within the organization and company.

In this role, you will have opportunities to work in a self-guided manner as well as collaborate with key functional stakeholders including Program Management and Engineering.Successful candidates will demonstrate an aptitude for efficiency, problem-solving, and resourcefulness, with a commitment to quality while developing their leadership skills as a key business partner.

What You Will Do

  • Budgeting, cost control and variance analysis, internal/external risk management and financial support
  • Development of quarterly EACs; analysis/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data.
  • Assist/create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and job cost accumulation.
  • Assist with RPlan inputs to include manpower planning, forecasting and reporting.
  • Accounting data extraction and reconciliation to include LAT and Cost Transfer submittals.
  • Assist in monitoring costs and manpower ensuring that actuals are within budget and charged to the correct end objective.
  • Develop and present briefing of program financial status to customer monthly.
  • Provide PMO and CAMS with internal reports on cost performance, special emphasis items, etc.
  • Support to the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) lead with estimation activities
  • Support supply-chain management in financial controls of subcontracts and material procurement forecasting
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Provide internal FP&A support for programs/portfolio; assist with forecasting, reporting and adhoc requests.Support AOP/ Long Range Planning development

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience
  • Experience with MS Office ex. Excel (to include Lookup/Index/Sum functions and pivot tables)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to manage priorities in order to meet deadlines.
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills.
  • Thorough attention to detail and work quality.
  • Knowledge of concepts and techniques related to program controls.
  • Experience with APEX transactions; knowledgeable in working with SAP/AO reporting, Rplan inputs and analysis and CDRL preparation.
  • Current SSBI clearance desired
  • Experience or exposure to performing cost control and analysis functions in a U.S. Government, multi-CLIN contracting environment.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
