Position summary: JMT is seeking a highly organized, diligent, enthusiastic, and proactive marketing assistant to support our regional marketing team with daily operations. The selected candidate will be highly punctual, able to learn technical terminology, and communicate in a concise, collaborative manner.
Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Daily review of client procurement websites and related systems to identify marketing leads and opportunities
  • Daily data entry of leads, opportunities, and other information into Client Relationship Management (CRM) database system
  • Data entry and oversight of Open Asset (digital asset management photo database)
  • Maintain marketing materials, including resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, photographs, subconsultant information, etc.
  • Assist with drafting, formatting, editing, and packaging of proposals
  • Clerical support for the marketing department

Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Experience
  • High School diploma
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 tools

Preferred Experience
  • Knowledge of databases
  • General InDesign knowledge is beneficial (beginner proficiency)
  • Prior experience in the Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management (AEC) industry

Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc., in the office environment. Occasional regional travel with some overnight stays will be required.
Subject to successful onboarding, consistent performance, and supervisor approval, this position can become a hybrid work arrangement, with the selected candidate expected to work in a JMT office location at least 3 days per week, or more as needed, to perform assigned duties.
