The ideal candidate will manage case files, communicate with clients, and ensure timely and accurate completion of legal forms and supporting documentation. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications, including family-based and employment-based petitions, naturalization, adjustment of status, asylum, DACA, TPS, and other immigration filings. • Draft legal correspondence, affidavits, and declarations under attorney supervision. • Collect and organize supporting documentation for filings, including personal identification, financial records, and employment documents. • Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and ensure all deadlines are met. • Conduct basic legal and factual research related to immigration law. • Track case statuses, monitor deadlines, and maintain up-to-date case files in digital and physical formats. • Assist with responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and other case-related inquiries. • Liaise with government agencies including USCIS, DOS, ICE, and EOIR as needed. • Provide translation support and interpretation (if applicable and language skills allow). Qualifications: Required: • Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor's degree preferred. • 2+ years of experience in immigration law as a paralegal or legal assistant. • Strong working knowledge of immigration procedures and terminology. • Proficient with immigration case management systems (e.g., INSZoom, LawLogix, or similar). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic document management systems.
