ICE is divided into two main components: Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), which focuses on identifying, arresting, and deporting individuals who violate immigration laws, and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), which investigates a broad range of domestic and international criminal activities. ICE agents work closely with other federal, state, and local agencies to protect national security and uphold public safety.
