• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand the unique backgrounds and experiences of patients, and develop individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, which may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored specifically for the backgrounds and needs of your patients.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health concerns, promoting resilience, and nurturing personal growth.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic care.
• Provide crisis intervention support, remaining calm and effective during emergency situations, ensuring patients receive immediate assistance.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment choices, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in alignment with all legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system efficiently.
• Actively participate in case conferences, team discussions, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance professional knowledge and service delivery.
• Stay current on best practices, cutting-edge research, and relevant cultural considerations within the realm of mental health therapy.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Georgia.
• A strong understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural competency in therapeutic practices.
• Experience providing both individual and group therapy utilizing culturally responsive techniques.
• Robust crisis intervention abilities, providing calm leadership during challenging scenarios.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective relationship-building with diverse populations.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and various computer applications to track patient progress and maintain documentation.
• A commitment to uphold professional boundaries, adhere to ethical standards, and preserve client confidentiality.
• A collaborative spirit, ready to engage with a multidisciplinary team focused on exceptional patient care.

• Experience in community mental health settings, particularly focusing on marginalized groups.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and techniques.
• Previous involvement in team-oriented therapeutic programs or initiatives.
