As a remote position, this role allows for flexible scheduling, making it possible to accommodate evenings and weekends to better serve our diverse client base. You will work within a supportive telehealth framework, utilizing advanced technology to connect with clients. • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse history and corresponding mental health challenges.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and any underlying mental health concerns.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Educate and support clients’ families, involving them meaningfully in the therapeutic process to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in accordance with regulatory standards, documenting progress and treatment effectiveness.

Your work will focus primarily on individuals dealing with substance use disorders, including those with co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will engage with clients of various backgrounds and ages, offering support designed to meet their specific needs and promoting long-term recovery goals.

• Possession of a valid mental health license: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in addiction counseling, with specialized training preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for managing substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire clients.
• Effective communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with advanced experience in addiction recovery counseling or related therapeutic approaches will be prioritized. Experience in telehealth environments is also a plus, aiding in the effective delivery of care through digital platforms.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, contingent upon the candidate's experience and credentials.
