Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality individual, couples, and family therapy through our secure telehealth platform, ensuring adherence to all ethical and confidentiality guidelines.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ family dynamics and relationship patterns to create effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Design and implement customized therapy strategies that address the unique needs and goals of each client, focusing on fostering resilience and positive change.
• Provide immediate support in crisis situations, demonstrating the ability to calmly assess needs and coordinate assistance with local crisis services when necessary.
• Document all consultations and therapy sessions accurately within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with documentation standards.
• Equip clients and families with practical communication strategies, boundary-setting techniques, and behavioral interventions that enhance daily interactions and family dynamics.
• Engage in collaborative meetings with a multidisciplinary team to discuss complex cases and share insights that contribute to comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve engaging with a diverse client population, including individuals facing mental health disorders, couples seeking to improve their relationships, and families navigating complex dynamics. By tailoring your therapeutic approach to the unique challenges each client presents, you will contribute significantly to their overall mental health and well-being.

Qualifications

• An active LMFT license in Vermont, as approved by the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in providing marriage and family therapy.
• Exceptional communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, vital for managing a remote practice.
• Proficiency in responding effectively to crises, utilizing calmness and professionalism under pressure.
• A demonstrated capacity to work with a variety of client concerns, extending beyond relationship issues to include broader mental health challenges.
• In-depth understanding of ethical practice standards, client confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth settings is highly desirable; however, specialized training will be offered for candidates who require it.
• Background in assessing and addressing family dynamics, trauma, and relationship patterns is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
