Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality individual, couples, and family therapy through our secure telehealth platform, ensuring adherence to all ethical and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ family dynamics and relationship patterns to create effective, individualized treatment plans.
  • Design and implement customized therapy strategies that address the unique needs and goals of each client, focusing on fostering resilience and positive change.
  • Provide immediate support in crisis situations, demonstrating the ability to calmly assess needs and coordinate assistance with local crisis services when necessary.
  • Document all consultations and therapy sessions accurately within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with documentation standards.
  • Equip clients and families with practical communication strategies, boundary-setting techniques, and behavioral interventions that enhance daily interactions and family dynamics.
  • Engage in collaborative meetings with a multidisciplinary team to discuss complex cases and share insights that contribute to comprehensive care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • An active LMFT license in Vermont, as approved by the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in providing marriage and family therapy.
  • Exceptional communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, vital for managing a remote practice.
  • Proficiency in responding effectively to crises, utilizing calmness and professionalism under pressure.
