Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to accurately identify patients' mental health issues, including performing intake interviews and formulating evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic services across various modalities including individual, group, and family therapy, ensuring that interventions are customized to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Employ crisis intervention techniques to assist clients during acute mental health episodes, ensuring immediate support and appropriate resource referral.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to ethical practices and legal requirements to ensure confidentiality.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care strategies and improve patient outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and community resources, advocating for client needs and promoting informed decision-making.
• Stay informed about contemporary practices in mental health treatment through continuous professional development, including attending workshops and training programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Center Stone, you will work primarily with a diverse population facing various mental health challenges. This includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, and more complex mental health disorders. Your role is pivotal in creating an empathetic support system that addresses both immediate mental health needs and promotes long-term wellness and resilience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Massachusetts.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment while also functioning effectively with autonomy.
• A solid commitment to upholding ethical standards and best practices in mental health treatment.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a clinical setting, although new graduates with relevant clinical training may be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
