  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute emotional distress, ensuring that appropriate resources are mobilized swiftly.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness, educate the public, and reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on serving a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and various other mental health disorders. You will be equipped to adapt your therapeutic approaches to better suit the cultural and personal backgrounds of clients, ensuring inclusivity in your therapeutic practice.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport and effectively build therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Cultural competency, demonstrating the ability to work sensitively and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Solid organizational and time-management abilities for maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically working as a Mental Health Counselor, providing direct therapeutic services.
  • Experience working in community mental health settings and familiarity with local resources.
