Are you an experienced Lead seeking career growth? HMC has an opportunity for you! Located at our manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, FL, you will help oversee and manage a team of hourly employees in a manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, production, and quality goals are met or exceeded. In this role, you will assist the supervisor to manage production employees, promote safety awareness, and motivate the team to achieve high productivity levels. You will also collaborate with other departmental supervisors and team leads to address and communicate any production-related issues.

We’re looking for a working Lead for our Jacksonville, FL manufacturing facility—someone who understands how things are built, can spot problems quickly, and knows how to keep a team moving safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

· Help lead a team of production employees and make sure work is done safely and correctly

· Keep an eye on the line—identify issues early and fix them before they slow things down

· Work directly with Maintenance and Materials to solve equipment or supply problems

· Run short daily meetings to set expectations and keep everyone on the same page

· Make sure production, safety, and quality targets are hit

· Check parts and finished products to ensure they meet specs—stop and correct issues when they don’t

· Train new employees and help current employees improve their skills

· Keep the work area organized and efficient (5S)

· Help out on the floor when needed to keep production moving

· Make sure jobs are properly closed out and materials are accounted for

· Create simple, clear work instructions that people can actually follow

What We’re Looking For

· Someone who is mechanically inclined and understands how machines and processes work

· 3+ years of experience leading people in a manufacturing environment

· Ability to use common sense to solve problems quickly—not everything has a manual

· Comfortable reading basic reports, work orders, and production sheets

· Fair, consistent, and able to hold people accountable

· Someone who can teach, coach, and motivate a team

· Strong communication skills—clear and direct

· Organized and able to keep track of multiple priorities

· Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
